Today, the researchers' main theory is that this diamond would have originated from a collision between our planet and an asteroid dating back hundreds of millions of years (2.6 to 3.8 billion years ago). The debris from the collision would have spread into the atmosphere and landed in Africa and Brazil. This black gemstone is therefore distinct from other diamonds whose origin is volcanic, and it captivates with its origin and components.

Geology, a science whose main object of study is the Earth, encompasses multiple disciplines. For some creations, the aesthetics achieved by the work of angles, hollows, openings in the metal, evoke the physiognomy of rocky landscapes, cliffs, crevices, steep slopes marked by the erosion of time.
Sometimes the striations in the metal of the ring recall the layering of geological sedimentary rocks that can be observed in rocks.
