This ring is a construction. Not a piece of jewelry, but a miniature architectural work, hand-forged in sterling silver, each face conceived as a section of a facade.
The setting is octagonal, framed by a double engraved molding reminiscent of the moldings of a Gothic stained-glass window.
On the shoulders, geometric motifs are incised with a chisel: raised triangles, vanishing lines, and angles that converge toward the central stone like flying buttresses toward a keystone.

There are rings that catch the eye. There are rings that cannot be ignored. This one belongs to the latter category.
The setting is a shield—wide, tall, and cut into an octagon like a stone shield. Around the turquoise, the silver is worked in successive layers, in geometric recesses, as if the jeweler had carved the material layer by layer to reach the stone. Radiating incisions extend from the corners of the setting down onto the shoulders—clean, deep, and decisive. No curves, no hesitation. Every line is a deliberate choice.
The silver is blackened throughout, and it's this blackness that makes all the difference: it absorbs the light, eliminates unwanted reflections, and gives full rein to the turquoise. A turquoise with character—dark, veined with black matrix, pierced by flashes of blue-green that appear unexpectedly. A stone that resembles night pierced by water.
The ring is square, thick, almost stark in its cross-section. There's something industrial about this ring—and something timeless. As if it had always existed, somewhere between an archaeological find and a collector's item.
