Set with an opal, this pendant in 925/1000 solid silver (20.42 grams) and 750/1000 gold (5.28 grams).
This silver piece ages or gold and shine giving it a unique raw effect reinforced by its stone and its shape.
Before becoming a piece of jewelry I sculpted it entirely in wax using a scabbard as the only tool, each time using a different cutting angle, I made different layers in order to cast it in silver.
The gold is melted on the silver like lava covering the walls of a volcano.
To achieve this effect the gold is heated to more than 1000° to merge with the silver.
For the finish, the silver is patinated, aged deliberately, the gold contrasts with its shine, the unique effect is reinforced by the opal and the raw aesthetic of the pendant.
